How It All Began...
Although he was a shy child, Dayton came from a musical family and was himself, passionate about music. He played drums in Church in his early years, and also learned bass, acoustic guitar and was classically trained in piano.
But more than anything... he loved to sing.
Lacking in confidence, it was a gift he kept hidden from the world until he was a 32 year old office worker! Since finding the courage to perform at his first showcase, Dayton's popularity, reputation (and confidence!) has grown rapidly... along with demand for his dates!
Now a full time singer and recording artist, 2016 has been an incredibly exciting year for Dayton, with the release of his beautiful debut single 'I See You' receiving airplay on FM radio stations, as well as being showcased on 2 music channels! This has helped with raising awareness and funds for FMA UK. Following this, Dayton was chosen to support Ray Lewis of The Drifters, and his band 'Still Drifting' in 2017, also sharing the stage with the man himself... the highlight of his year so far!
As well as working on completing his 1st album due to be released late 2017, Wolverhampton based Dayton is an extremely popular and established vocalist, with a polished 'Tribute to the Legends of Soul and Motown Show' that he performs Internationally. Alongside this, Dayton's new tribute to Luther Vandross - 'For The Love of Luther' is proving to be very popular choice, having been extremely well received with some fantastic industry expert reviews since it's launch in November 2016!
